The following studies support specific interventions within our multi-modal approach to improving neurodevelopmental and brain health, grounded in the Iron Trap Hypothesis. This collection reflects a broad but integrative set of inputs—including published research, clinical observations, biochemical models, and a Bayesian statistical analysis demonstrating the superior explanatory power of the Iron Trap compared to other prevailing theories (e.g., genetic determinism, maternal immune activation, gut-brain axis, etc.).

The resources below are grouped thematically and include our own Zenodo-published papers, along with hand-selected studies across iron metabolism, HO-1 dysfunction, redox collapse, ferroptosis, retained reflexes, light biology, circadian disruption, nutrition, and movement-based neuro-rehabilitation. While many of these interventions such as targeted nutrient repletion, sulforaphane, green tea, or structured cross-lateral movement, show clear benefits for brain function and redox balance, direct studies on their efficacy in neurodiverse populations (e.g., autism, ADHD, OCD) are still emerging.

Our goal is to bring together these fragmented insights into a unified, systems-level framework—one capable of explaining and reversing the redox collapse at the heart of so many chronic and developmental conditions. To free the iron slaves, we must first understand the chains.
